Jean Dujardin The Artist Academy Awards 2012

The 84th Annual Academy Awards
February 26th 2012

Bravo Jean Dujardin, merci Harvey Weinstein...

We all know that The Artist is not really a French movie, and that the five Oscars could not have been won without Harvey Weinstein, the real winner of the Academy Awards 2012.

Jean Dujardin, Bérénice Bejo, Thomas Langmann, Harvey Weinstein & Michel Hazanavicius

And we know that there are a lot of jealous / frustrated people on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. Some Americans can’t stand the fact that, for the first time since the Academy Awards, the Best Performance Oscar has gone to a French-from-France actor. Some snobbish French despise Jean Dujardin because of his ‘comical’ career and the kind of movies he starred in (Un gars, une fille, The Brice Man, OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies). Here at DVDbash, we love cinema and the people who make it, and we are proud of the French-American success of The Artist.
